Christian Service

Christian service is born from our prayer and liturgical life. "They will know we are Christians by our love." Our goal is simple: to demonstrate the importance of Jesus' command to love our neighbor and to encourage our students to do the same.

Students in Grades 5-8 have a service-hour requirement in their religion class. This requirement gives our students an opportunity to put Jesus' command of love into action. Further, community service fosters our students' moral and social growth.

Both schools participate in numerous community service projects:

  • Each year, our schools collect food, clothing, and toys for those in need.
  • Our students frequently visit local nursing homes. In 2019, the Upper Campus began a partnership with Wyndemere Woods Assisted Living Facility. Students spend quality time with residents playing games, making crafts, and having conversations.
  • Monthly Dress Down Days are held to support local, national, and international missions.
  • Students in our Upper School make Thanksgiving and Christmas cards for patients at Landmark Medical Center.
  • Each year, our Lower Campus runs Santa's Workshop with proceeds supporting local charities.
  • Students in our Upper Campus organize a Giving Tree project to support families in need during Christmastime.

Our Lower and Upper Campuses are Feinstein Leadership Schools. Mr. Feinstein and his foundation have proven to be another effective way of encouraging our students to give back to the community. "To better one life is to better the world."
