Recognizing the need of many working parents to provide affordable, responsible supervision for their children during the period between the end of the school day and the end of the parents’ work day, our Extended Care Program is held daily from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and is open to students in Pre-K3 to Grade 8. Free Extended Care will be offered from 2:30 PM-3:00 PM for students in Pre-K who have siblings in other grades to help families with pick-up.
During the Extended Care Program, students participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and enjoy a light snack. Students are also given time to complete homework.

New this year, the GWCRS Board of Directors has approved a sibling discount for families with more than one child in our extended day program. As a reminder, payment is due on a weekly basis for families. Exciting news - we have listened to your requests and are thrilled to announce that Good Shepherd now offers the convenience of ONLINE/CREDIT CARD payment for Extended Day Billing fees. This new service is provided through our trusted partner, FACTS Management, giving you the flexibility to manage your payments seamlessly. Opting into the FACTS Incidentals option means you'll receive monthly billing for Extended Day fees, with the added convenience of making payments online. Whether you prefer bank transfers or credit card payments, this option offers you the flexibility you've been asking for.
