Tuition & Financial Aid

The chart below summarizes tuition rates for the 2024-2025 academic year. Tuition is paid directly to FACTS Management, a company contracted by GWCRS to provide tuition-collection services. There are several different payment options available. A GWCRS Tuition Policy/Contract is given to parents during the registration process.

Financial Aid

Scholarships & Tuition Assistance

GWCRS provides several scholarships and offers some tuition assistance to qualifying families.  GWCRS scholarships are funded through various fundraisers as well private donors.  Scholarships are awarded based on merit and /or financial need.  Some of the privately funded scholarships available are the Mr. & Mrs. Rene Frappier Memorial, Billy Rogers Memorial, Dennis Pruitt Memorial, Rev. Robitaille Trust, Sr. Sue Bourret, Milford Federal Savings, Woonsocket Rotary Club, The Marguerite Vadenais-Bilodeau Memorial, The Rapko Family Memorial and the Tribble Family Memorial.
Any family who wants to be considered for tuition assistance from GWCRS, the Diocese of Providence, or their parish must complete a FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment application by the required deadline. Any applications submitted after this deadline may reduce the chances of receiving aid. This application is used by GWCRS, the Diocese of Providence, and parishes to determine eligibility for scholarships and financial aid.

GWCRS provides FACTS information to all families. This information contains details about completing the financial aid process. New families will receive their FACTS information when their child (children) is (are) accepted. Present families will receive their information with the registration materials in January.

FACTS applications can be submitted here. If you have questions or concerns, please contact a representative from FACTS Management.

Parish Assistance

The Diocese of Providence mandates that every parish must spend at least 7% of its gross annual income on tuition assistance for Catholic education. Some parishes have a set formula they follow in determining assistance while others base their decisions on financial need or mitigating circumstances. Furthermore, many parishes require families who request financial aid to be actively engaged in the community, economic, and sacramental life for the parish.

Please speak with your pastor about your parish's tuition-assistance criteria, including whether you will be required to submit a FACTS application.

We encourage families to apply for scholarships and financial aid. During the 2022-2023 academic year, over $198,000 was awarded.
